I didn't write it to garner hook-ups with fresh subs. I wrote it to share the joy.
This is not to say that I do not practice long-distance control; I do. But the primary reason of this little book is to share the fun with those who perhaps are unable to live the sub life out in the open.
To an experienced sub in a full-time, live-in, 24/7 relationship, this book may seem "lite".
To other subs – the curious, the uninitiated, the beginner, the simply shy – this book has been a welcome resource.

Like the reviewer before me, I am not impressed by this book. First of all, the whole premise is problematic--the fact that it's written by a male Dom directed at female submissives who clearly have little or no BDSM experience makes it seem like he's trolling for new playthings, and inexperienced ones at that (yikes). I don't know if that's an accurate portrayal of the kind of person he is, but if not, he really needs to put a lot more thought into his writing because, as is, it's sort of overly-specific. It might as well be titled, "7 Things Submissive Women Can Do That I Personally Enjoy."
Second, some of this stuff is not smart--many forms of self-bondage are unsafe and dangerous, even if it doesn't seem that way. Do not tie yourself up, seriously. Even if it sounds fun (and it kinda does), if something goes wrong, you're in big trouble. As a Dom, I am responsible for my submissive's safety and well-being, after all, and that includes keeping an eye on them if there's anything like that involved. This is the main reason why I'm writing this review - just to say, whoa, maybe not.
Third, the whole idea of a "submissives how-to" kinda defeats the purpose of being submissive, at least from my perspective as a Dom. The stuff that he suggests in this book, like I said in my first paragraph, is stuff that he probably likes, but it may just be irrelevant depending on the relationship. It's no replacement for actually talking to your Dom -- believe me, we probably have suggestions for you, haha.
